Commissioned in 2023 by the Dean and Canons of Windsor to mark the admission of the first girl choristers and first female Lay Clerk to the choir of St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The first performance was given in St George’s Chapel at The Installation Service of The Most Noble Order of the Garter on Monday 19th June 2023, directed by James Vivian and with Luke Bond at the organ.
This is the 2nd edition incorporating a few changes to the score made after the first performance.

God of hosts,
who so kindled the flame of love
